A night out in Rome
Last night, as a group, we went out for a traditional Italian meal. It was so loud, crazy and fun. There were a variety of salamis and fresh Buffalo mozzarella and ricotta cheese to start with, along with fresh Italian bread. Then the servers would bring out individual dishes of: eggplant, chick peas, beans, red peppers, potatoes, zucchini, mixed veggies. The next course we're 3 different kinds of pasta, a ravioli, a seashell, and ditalini. Then came a platter of meat, including sausage, chicken, lamb and pork, with some tossed salad, and more potatoes. Finally, there were an assortment of desserts to choose from. The wine and beer was free flowing as well. A guitarist and singer mingled amongst us as well. There were specialty coffees and liqueurs as a finale.
