Under the Tuscan Sun part two

If I never return, you know where I am. It is so beautiful here. We had supper at hilltop villa originaly belonging to Machiavelli. He was a  famous 16th-century political scientist. The villa was built in 1450. The views were stunning.
Apparently, the villa you can see in the background was used for George Clooney's wedding reception/ honeymoon.
The villa has its own wine cellar. It could hold about the equivalent of 90 000 bottles ( see why I can stay here!)
It is also a Musuem dedicated to Machioveli. This was his actual desk where he wrote "The Prince" in 1532.
Real limes growing on the terrace.

We were seated on the terrace of the villa, overlooking the vineyards. We were served Italian meats, cheeses, quiche, 2 different kinds of pasta, beef and potatoes, and dessert. Of course, as much wine as you could drink. All the while, a trio of musicians played for our listening pleasure! It was an awesome meal in a spectacular setting-a truly memorable evening!
