We were off to Rome this morning. It was a gorgeous drive! We drove from Venice to Bologna, then near Florence and into Rome. This took us through different regions. First, we drove through agricultural land. The fields are small, but we saw many of the same crops we might see at home, except for grapes. Then we drove through the Tuscan hills. It was spectacular! There were many olive groves, fields of sunflowers on a hillside, with a traditional Tuscany manor house on top of the hill.
